Doug Kyle, DC, DABCO

Dr. Douglas Kyle always knew that he wanted to work in the medical field, yet it was a diagnosis of testicular cancer at age 25 that shifted his perspective and his approach to care. He began to explore more holistic, less invasive methods of treatment. Since then, he has been solely interested in drug-free, hands on, therapeutic care. Chiropractic college was the first step in that direction, as well as where he met his wife (and now colleague), Sharon Kyle, DC.

As his career progressed, he became increasingly aware of many patients’ dependency on recurrent visits. He sought to change this pattern and began working, instead, to focus on time efficient and lasting treatment, with the ultimate goal of moving patients toward independence.

Dr. Kyle is a board-certified chiropractic orthopedist (DABCO) with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He spent 15 years teaching Active Release Technique (ART) to physicians and manual therapists around the world, helping shape how soft-tissue injuries are evaluated and treated across multiple disciplines. This depth of experience allows him to recognize subtle movement restrictions, adhesions, and biomechanical faults that are often missed, particularly in chronic or recurrent injuries.

Dr. Kyle is particularly passionate about the integration of Active Release Technique with advanced shockwave therapy. ART is highly effective at restoring normal motion by identifying and releasing “packed-in” tissues created by injury, overuse, or poor biomechanics. When combined with shockwave therapy, treatment goes beyond restoring movement alone—stimulating cellular regeneration, improving local circulation, and accelerating tissue repair. This combination allows both the mechanical and regenerative aspects of healing to occur simultaneously, often leading to faster recovery, more durable results, and better long-term outcomes for patients.
